Journaling

This year I have begun journaling for the first time. It has been helpful to me and revealing. It allows me to have a written record of God's blessings and His grace in my life.

I spent five Saturdays in a program at church that was to help us discover our gifts and discern how God wants us to use them. It was an awesome program. I learned so much about the history of the church and denomination. I am now praying for God's guidance as to where I can assist the church and others.

It's a funny thing how a difficult situation that seems so bleak can turn out to be something wonderful and positive. I am learning to approach all circumstances as good even when at first glance they don't seem to be good. This past year has brought growth and experiences to my life that I could not have imagined. This time last year if I had been asked if my life would be so wonderful at Easter, 2012, I couldn't have seen it. Now, I think about how much more wonderful my life will be at Easter, 2012. Perspective, positive thinking and a strong faith...Thanks be to God!
